Aaaaaand we’re back. Sort of.
love that its back to normal, but i liked the reboot too!
I knew it, I totally called this~ (laughs)
On the plus side, this makes everyone happy. Doyle gets one more (possibly two knowing how often he does several episodes like this one in any one go) “On Hiatus”-style comic and Brick House lovers get their Brick House title and episode number!
Well, it could mean that tripping on anything will send you through a plot hole, where you would end up dead in many sorts of ways, or maybe alive…I guessing that the former is more likely to happening…Anyway, more #2′s sounds absolutely awesome!
P.S. You spelled “hiatus” wrong in panel 4…
“Haitus” is a small island offshore of Hispanola which is noted for its discrete banking services, lack of lights, and spellchecks. It’s the last place you’d expect doctored chili to send them.
Cue infinite grey plane of death and an Irregular Webcomic crossover….?
oohhh!! yes please!
I foresee 1215′s title to be….Still in the Dark.
My three guesses on the story:
A) Zombies. They’re zombies.
B) Since it was a time machine, it could have like killed them in our timeline/zone but taken them to another timeline/zone
C) A whole section about them being in heaven, and the only way they can get out is by going down with the Christmas Spirit, thus causing another Advent Madness. Or something. I dunno. I’m not good at this.
OH! Just had another idea:
As the Brick House exploded/imploded/wthatever, the Plot-Hole Device Thingi kasplooshed everywhere and that’s how they’re still alive.
I think that’s still one of my favorite times where he’s made up some sort of literary term and actually implemented it into the story, like ‘traveling at the speed of plot’ and such.
“The plot hole? Good God man, you didn’t let him near that, did you?” Classic.
1: Donut gropes around in the dark and activates some emergency generators.
2: The characters are scattered around the ruined brick house main floor. They look at themselves and see themselves very injured.
3: One character says “… turn it off” when disturbed at the sight of themselves, or where they happen to be in the time/space stream right now.
4: Lights go out again
Though that might be too violent
oh no the brick house exploded and caused the world to end! it’s the big bang 2!
Gee, no one remembers that clown-bot tossed bananas into the chilli pot that POWERS the time machine? Wow.
I do. That’s why it’s dark.
