I still want to do an adults-only LEGO comic called “Studs” someday.
I would comment rofl, but, that would be silly… and it deserves more.
‘Builder’ and ‘displayer’ are LEGO terms for LEGO minifigs? That sounds interesting. Tell me more, please.
i think doyle meant by what whiskey’s “potential” is vs “what he has”.
Builders vs. displayers are not terms for minifigs, but for types of AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) — and now, thanks to this episode, I can’t think of my fellow AFOLs as “builders” or “displayers” without needing to poke out my mind’s-eye.
Whiskey seems supremely confident that he knows the wrong impression from the right one! Wonder how long that’ll last?
“Studs”, I am intrigued by this concept and would like to hear more.
And not for the obvious reasons. I am curious as to how you would pull it off…Um, how you would handle…How you’d do… I don’t think there is a way to say this without it having some sort of naughty connotations ^.^;
Have you considered “How would you handle ~Ahem~ assembling Technic pieces?”?
What set did you get that Loki from?
I’m not sure – I have both the truck and the big lab set. He was from one of those.
If you did, it’d probably be a hit (this is the Internet, after all). The only real problem is the gratuitous nudity would be umpteen Sharpie’d variations of Pat O’Buttah, unless you went the skimpy thong/attached lever bases route.
Of course, there are also other anatomically-correct options, such as 3D-printing minifig parts with the proper, uh, ‘accessories’ attached. Too soon to tell, but I venture TLG will be no more pleased with what’s coming down the pike there, than the MPAA/RIAA was.
to bad i’m already making one called studs.try and come up with a better name.AND like this comic is for kids.ha!
still this is Best Comic Eva!
i’m gonna be called jbrick from no on. you will be inspiration for my comic,(it won’t be adults only though. it’ll be like this comic in a way.)
(enter horny joke here)
can’t come up with one yet.
I would TOTALLY read “Studs”–then again I’m all about the darkside! Bwahahahaha! :3
