Jen's Balloon Ride, Part 2

We go back outside to watch the balloons inflate.

Nice lens flare!

The fans are gas-powered huge things, turning the silk into a dome of color.

Two smaller balloons with only the pilot and two people each get inflated faster - the burner is opened up and lit and this HUGE jet of flame (so hot it's barely visible) brings the balloon from a dome resting on the ground to full and upright in 30 seconds.

[Chris: I call this sequence "Grace Under Fire". The balloon went upright so fast the pilot tumbled into the basket. He had things under control again in less than a second. It was impressive, yet funny. ]
