Super-Heroes Card

The figures in this three-pack were first seen in the Small Bat-Hero and Companion set. There's Catwoman, a Batman, and Jet-Pack Joker. The figures, as far as I can tell, are identical.

The interesting thing about this bootleg is the package art. Those of you familiar with Golden Age comics will recognize Jack Kirby's style. (Jack Kriby was a major force in early Marvel comics. He designed the look and feel of the Fantastic Four, among others). The illustrations here are in classic "Kriby-esque" poses. The Batman figure looks a lot like one of Kriby's "New Gods". The Catwoman is cast as a sorceress, shooting lightning from her outstretched fingers. All in all, a very strange bit of art!

Super-Heroes Art

The package has printing on one side only, like many bootlegs.

Overall, this bootleg is interesting as a re-package of a Bootleg that was a scale-redution of a licensed line! The package art is unique and a lot of fun. The figures themselves are lame and poorly painted, but that's just par for the course....
