Batman Closeup

This five inch figure comes carded on a custom backboard. The card art proclaims the figure to be a POWER HERO - Marble Shooter with Real Marble Shooting Action! The card is printed on only one side, but the printing and artwork are realy quite nice. The Batman and Power-Ranger pictured appear to be original artwork.

The figure itself is a Batman Animated figure (Retro-Batman?) with a single, obvious, change. In the middle of Batman's chest there is now a huge marble! Although the figure appears to be cast from the standard Batman mold, the articulation is vastly different. The arms work as normal - a swivel at the shoulder. The head is glued as to stare straight forward, and the legs swivel at the base of the trunks. It's a point of articulation, but I can't figure out what good it's supposed to do....

The Batman outfit is painted silver with black gloves, boots, trunks and cowl. The figure lacks any sort of cape. The marble is a clear blue.

Power Hero The other figure in the Power Hero line is based off of the Power Ranger franchise. It is that figure that is pictured on the left side of the card, and in the instruction photo on how to fire the marble.

Overall, this is a fun Bootleg. The figure is obviously batman, and it has an action feature that even Kenner hasn't come up with yet!
