The Figrue in Question To the right is a six inch figurine of E.T. - The extra-terrestiral that was obtained in Cananda. It's exact vintage is unknown, but it was bought second-hand in 1999.

Most likely this is a bootleg of an LJN E.T. toy - or one of the many, many, bootegs that were created to fill the marketing void created when no product was immediately available upon the release (and success) of the film.

The figure is articulated at the shoulders and the top of the neck, and at the top of his legs.

The figure is completely devoid of any markings. The bottoms of the feet are completely smooth, unlike the carving covering the rest of this item. My guess is that any copyright info was sanded from the footprints before the figure was duplicated.

I'm by no means an expert on old LJN E.T. stuff - if anything in this review is inaccurate, just drop me a line
