Full Card

At right you can see the carded version of this bootleg - a knock off of Mattel's HotWheels "Action Pack" line.

In particular, take a look at the "City Rescue" logo at the upper right (partially obscured by the price tag, sorry about that.)

A dead ringer for the HotWheels version, no? How about the card art itself? Unless I'm wrong, it's a direct copy of the original.

The card is printed on one side only, with a big Child safety "WARNING" in the upper left. Kind of an odd placement...they must have been working with the existing graphics layout and just put things where they could find room. By the way, the "Toy Galaxy" sticker is from a Canadian importer of bootleg toys...they plaster their info all over their knock-offs.

Speaking of finding room, be sure to notice the odd slant of the cardboard insert in the bubble. It was cut a bit too long, and as a result doesn't fit properly.

The toys themselves are cheaper version of Mattel's "Surf Patrol" action pack. The real version has two bikini-babes, a better jeep, and well, we'll talk about the boat in a moment.

Detail of Figures

If you look past the figures in the foreground, you can see what I'm talking about...the entire top half of the boat is MISSING! You can even see the peg holes where the assembly was supposed to have taken place.

Overall, this bootleg would be a lot more interesting if I were a HotWheels collector. As it is, I'm sure I failed to point out some information that only a HotWheels guru would know.
