OK, this really isn't a toy Per-se. But Bootleg Correspondant Ian McLean picked them up for me, and sent photos and a description on ahead. Could I do less than feature them?

For some time Ian has been finding me bootleg versions of Winnie the Pooh and TweetyBird.

(I'll have reviews of some of the up soon. Many have already apeared in the short lived Bootleg D'Jour featurette, for you frequent visitors.)

Well, this time he really topped himself.

I found a $1 yellow plastic Tweety Pie "Health toothbrush".

That's what it's called.

The rough cut edges of the cardboard backer are funny enough (cut with scissors, I think), but it also features bootleg pics of Pooh, Sailor Moon, Mickey Mouse, Snoopy and Tweety Pie on the card. That was cool.

Then I realised that one toothbrush was actually a yellow Winnie the Pooh plastic fork!!! But it was still on the same "Health toothbrush" backer!!!!

Then I realised that the Pooh had purple Tweety Pie feet and a tiny Tweety tummy!!!!

And that his left sleeve and right hand were simply repaints of Tweety's wings! Seems as if a Pooh head and left arm w/ purple icecream have been grafted onto the Tweety mold. Hilarious stuff!!!!

Then I found a matching Pooh spoon, also labelled "Health toothbrush". So now you have two of each one. You lucky man!
(Chris notes that he is, indeed, a lucky man.)

Oh the irony! I bought them from "Wise Buy".
