Box Front

OK, this one goes a bit beyond the "normal" bootleg fare for this page, I know. But, with Star Trek bootlegs so darn hard to find, I'll take what I can get.

Presenting the oddest item in my Bootleg Collection - The Penetrator.

Yes, it's a condom.

Yes, it's a "tickler".

As you can see from the box pictured at right, The Penetrator (by Gasworks) has a nice little image of the Classic Enterprise as a selling point.

Around the perimeter of the box is the following text:

One Penetrator
By Gasworks

Made in England

Strictly a Novelty Item
Not to be relied upon for the prevention of Sexually transmitted diseases (STD's) and Pregnancy.

And, the coolest action feature you could hope for:

For Best Results....
Hold up to light for 30 seconds. Then it will Really GLOW!!!

The bottom of the package has manufacturer info (Gasworks, Inc. Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33305) and a UPC Code.

Box Top

As show above, the top of the box has another tie to the Star Trek franchise, namely a parody of the opening remarks of Classic Trek...

To Boldly GLOW
Where No One's
Gone Before!!

Open View

Opening the box yields the last surprise from the Penetrator....that the condom itself is a bootleg of the Enterprise! The saucer section has been reproduced in latex, as well as small nubbins for the nacelles farther down the, ah, shaft.

I guess I could describe this some more, but I'd rather keep the site PG. I leave the rest to YOUR filthy imagination!
