Logo This line demonstates that Bootleg Toys can have the same name but vastily different themes. I direct you to the Star Trek "Space War" bootlegs as a refrence. True, the Star Trek line also features stickers with images from Star Wars, but it's just not the same thing.

As you might guess from the text in the "lightsaber" (One or two players), this is a mini-game. True, it's not an action figure bootleg, but the characters and themes on the package art, as well as on the game itself, fairly scream Star Wars Bootleg.

On Card At left you can see the game as it appears on-card. As usual, the card has printing on one side only, and the backer isn't made from very heavy cardstock.

The game isn't very interesting (at least to me). It has a launcher that shoot top-like discs into the centeral area of the playing board. The tops then spin and find their way into one of the peg-holes surrounding the main area. A point total goes with each hole. The highest score wins. Yawn.

Instuctions to this affect are printed just below the logo, as seen at left.

The game and launcher are cast from bright (and I mean BRIGHT) orange plastic, with full color stickers. The art on all of the stickers appears to be original (as opposed to being lifted from another toy).

Character Shot

The card art is much more interesting. As noted above, the "One or Two Players" line is printed inside what appears to be a lightsaber. The Star Wars images don't stop there....

In the image at right you can see the rest of the card-back plagerism. Take note of the following Star Wars-ish features:

Just below the "Princess" there is also a small Almost-R2. There may be even more imagery under the game itself, but I haven't removed mine from the package to check.

True, none of the images are lifted directly from any Star Wars item or character, but I think it's fairly clear what they are based on.

Game Board Happily, the Star Wars images continue onto the game itself.

As shown in the image at left, the stickers that adorn the game and associated pieces are also rife with Star Wars images.

Most notable is the A-Wing pictured on the Top at right. (Upside down in package). Truly a dead-ringer for the popular Star Wars vehicle. The other top has a sticker of a generic jet-shaped ship.

The game board itself has a Death Star sticker right in the center. Well, at least it looks like the Death Star to me.

The other ships and tokens are really just generic space ships and planets. Too little, too late for originality though....this is clearly a BOOTLEG!
