Class of Bootleg Class Two - Duplicated and Modified
Class Notes: Original molds for Soundwave's humanoid tape has been enlarged
Bootleg Source: Transformers
Bootleg Rating: StarStarStar (Three out of Five Stars)
Sightings: Oklahoma
Vintage:Fall 1997

I normally avoid Transformer Bootlegs - there were so many legal versions of the robot-to-something-else concept that determining what should be included here becomes quite tricky.

Anyway, the figure detailed here is obviously a Transformer bootleg - it's cast from the same molds that once produced Soundwave's Cassette Tapes. (One was called Rumble, and I think there were like three more.) The neat thing is that the cassette-form is HUGE! And the robot version is nearly six inches tall!

Space Robot
The robot comes in a variety of color schemes - none of which look anything like the legal version. All are rainbow-hued monstrosities.

Color Variations
Each figure also comes with a couple of non-transformer weapons - a sword and a couple of guns. Nothing too special.

Overall, this is a fun little bootleg. It's recognizeable to many people, it's OBVIOUSLY not the real thing, and in it's new scale, doesn't work as a cassette toy at all!
