X-Team Gambit

The Large X-Team line is more cheap knock offs of existing, mainstream toys. The Gambit shown here is not of the highest quality...the pieces fit together poorly, the cape is cheap vinyl and he has no other accessories.

Of interest, however, is the artwork on the box. All of the art has been lifted from hot Marvel X-Men art. The back of the box features a full rendition of the special edition cover of X-Men (2nd series) #1. It looks as if the sweat-shop in China got ahold of the Marvel Clip-Art book. ;)

This closeup shows a good detail of Gambit's head, as well as spotlighting some of the hijacked artwork.
