LEGO 2006 Advent Calendar - Day 2

Today's Prize:
Temporal Transporter Pylons

More proof that Jack is from the future! Behind door number two, and clearly shown in his note, are these Star Trek-like Temporal Transporter Pylons. (I think they were from the Next-Gen episode "Time's Arrow." Remember where they found Data's head in the cave?)

Anyway, sure, they could be mistaken for simple construction warning signs. If we hadn't had that note from the future on day one, we might have made that mistake ourselves. But that's not the way things are playing out.

As soon as Jack saw the Pylons he raced to set them up. It was obvious he was expecting someone. Or something.

And, sure enough, as soon as Jack had retreated to a safe distance the pylons activated! A horrible whine filled the air as the portal opened.....
