Entry #11 - George Fox's Hand-Truck-Truck

For when you find it handy to move a bunch of hand-trucks by truck. Uses eight hand-trucks in the bodywork, carries another two in back.

Judge's Notes:

Player A: I liked the way the handtrucks were used to make the bed of the truck.

Player B: I liked how they could make a whole truck out of hand trucks.

Entry #12 - Brian K's Motorized Radar Dish

This is a motorized radar dish that rotates, powered by a red micro motor. 8 prongs with 3 hand carts makeup the structure of the dish with red flags attached to fill in the spaces. That's a total of 24 hand carts on the radar dish. Add in a few other pieces to give it some contrast and I'm all ready to signal the massive space fleet to invade other countries!

AND a movie of the dish in action at YouTube

Judge's Notes:

Player A: I thought it was well built and the handtrucks blended in nicely. Very complex but used the handtrucks well.

Player B:I liked how the handtrucks were placed to make a dish-shape.

Nathan: I was fortunate enough to actually see this one in action at the last TwinLUG meeting. It's too bad more people don't make use of motors in their models.

Chris: A strong contenter - I doubt anyone had seen handtrucks in quite this way before.

Entry #13 - James Clark's

Entry #16 - Peppermint_M's The Haniver

The Haniver is a scrapper, built from the wrecks of unlucky ships in the scrap-teriods of Tartarus. Her captain, pilot and builder is Jen Strakhiver an Insectivan former slave who escaped the smelting pits to a life of hunting those who put her there, rescuing others from her fate.

Entry #17 - Ian "TK-1420" Wilkinson's
Jim at the Gym

"I'm having trouble lifting just the 12 lb. weight!"

Entry #18 - Ian "TK-1420" Wilkinson's
Blue Jelly Alien in Red Speeder

Judge's Notes:

Nathan: A cornucopia of unusual part choices. Particularly like the use of Squid Ammo. Nice to see the handtruck so well integrated into the model given it's odd shape.

Entry #19 - TechnoBrick's Handtruck Jetpack

Agent Brick handles too may difficult situations. Being stuck in a janitor's closet at a dinosaur facility, he realized the only logical explanation was to turn a handtruck into a jetpack. I don't really know either.

Entry #20 - Rook's Hand Truck Monster

Used my all 5 of my hand trucks.

More photos: Photobucket

Judge's Notes:

Player A: The monster was really detailed and I liked th way the handtrucks were used.

Nathan: The images just scream "nasty alien quadruped". The use of color was excellently done.

Between this and the red dragon I really like the use of the part as a set of jaws, but again the first to use it as such sticks with me.

Chris: I like the use of colors - a creepy Monster/Handtruck Hybrid!
