Here's another comparison shot of the Halls. Once again continuity takes a hit in the animated version; the towers are only half-decorated, and the alcoves on the side of the towers seem to be missing (but that might just be deep shadow). I spent some time trying to figure out if the shapes in the window were supposed to be reflections or interior details. Eventually I came to my senses and moved on.

Speaking of continuity, I'd like to point out that my version of the Hall has been very consistent between photos. Amazing!

I like this shot a lot - you can see a couple of the roof details, and get a sense how the Hall could be incorporated into a larger layout. It was at this point that my wife became frightened that she'd never get her dining room table back, that LEGO would claim yet another room in the house.

The last image for this page demonstrates that flash photography and LEGO brick sometimes do not play well together. You'll want to click on through to the next page and finish your tour before you become too fascinated by the reflections.
