Building the teeny tiny

One of the things I needed for the Brick House strip was the ability to "pull back" and show things at a much smaller scale. To that end, after I completed the mini-figure scaled Brick House I went back and built one at a 1:4 ratio. This reduced a standard green base plate from 32x32 studs down to an 8x8 square (Vignette sized!)

As I build the neighbors, I'll also add them onto this tiny street. You know, this sort of reminds me of "The Land of Make Believe" from the Mister Rogers Neighborhood program. Maybe I'll have to put in a trolley.

Here's a couple of views of the "Teeny Tiny Brick House". It looks a bit more "tan" than the full scale version, but building it all in red looked even worse.

(Here's a reminder photo of the mini-figure scaled version:)

These last two shots show the remaining sides of the house -and check out the hot tub! That's a pre-printed brick from the "Mission to Mars" line with the little DaVinci-esque Mini-figure. To me it sort of looks like someone's in the tub.

Well, it's better than an imperial logo, which was my other choice. :P
