Nine of Wands

Divination:

This card signifies a time for endurance, persistence and tenacity. Affairs are coming to completion, but one task may be forthcoming which requires all our energy and alertness. Prepare for a period of testing or evaluation.

Author Commentary:

The finale of "The Triumph of Ginny Weasley". (The other parts are the Five and Seven of Wands).

This was actually the second card of the trilogy completed. I didn't have any plans for "story telling" within the deck itself, but the Swords ended up with a funny little tale of the Black Knight. Once that was established, I started looking for story openings in the rest of the deck.

I already had the Five of Wands done, and was having some trouble figuring out how to fit nine wands into a single image. And, luckily, my Muse took pity on me and this little victory dance was created.
