This is the card of mental (intellectual) revelation and empowerment. One of the most important cards of the Minor Arcana.

Author Commentary:

Like all of the aces, this image is based on the ace from the Rider-Waite deck. Not very complex, not very interesting, but at least it's thematic.

Each of the aces shares a portion of the same panoramic background. They don't match up exactly, of course. That'd be too easy.

Although the chromed sword looks great, it was a pain to work with, as there was no real way to wash out the reflections of the room it was photographed in.
