XIII - Death

Divination:

A card of change and revolution. Also cleansing, healing, and severance. New beginnings.

Author Commentary:

The second card started, and something like the seventh finished. You can read about the false starts here.

The flower in the background is based on the flower on the flag the Rider-Waite Death carries. Plus, I thought it was nicely symbolic of the whole "new beginnings" part of the card.

The helmet used here shows up again in the swords set. No real connection, just a bit of trivia.
