King of Swords

Divination:

This card signifies openness to new unconventional attitudes or behavior. The modern and the avant-garde. Innovation and mastery. Seeing behind the veil of half-truths, deceptions and denial.

Author Commentary:

Vader was the obvious choice for the King of Swords. I had considered making the Court of Swords (with the exception of the Queen, obviously) all different versions of Anakin. Pod racer Annie for the Page, Angsty Teen for the Knight, and Vader for the King. But then I'd have to admit I'd watched both "Phantom Menace" and "Attack of the Clones" enough to be able to apply characterization.

Plus, using just Anakin would mean that Luke and Ben would have to be shoehorned in somewhere else, and that would have been just sad.
