King of Wands

This card signals the discovery of who we are in terms of personality, energy, interest and temperament. It also indicates enthusiasm, trying new things, enjoying our energy and youth. Confidence in oneself. Doing just for the love and fulfillment of it. Being self-motivated. Applying energy and intelligence to a project.

Author Commentary:

If you're going to use Harry Potter characters for the court cards, then you have to use Dumbledore for the King. I'm pretty sure that's a law somewhere.

The nice thing was this required me to buy a LEGO set I didn't own already, just to get the mini-figure to photograph.

Oh, the sacrifices I make for my art.

Notice that I did have a beard I could have "faked" Dumbledore with (see the Six of Wands), had things gone badly. Luckily, JenX (my wife) was in a generous mood.
