XVII - The Star

Author Commentary:

Friend and Tarot-Editor Lex shines as the central figure in The Star.

The background of this image is Van Gogh's Starry Night Over the Rhone. Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists, and I wanted to be sure to include his work somewhere in the deck. I opted not to use the more well known Starry Night as it really pulled focus away from Lex.

I debated adding some digital water into the goblets here, but I've never been able to render believable liquid.
