Author Commentary:

Everyone has a dream car - that one automobile that you'd love to be driving, even if it's horribly impractical, or out of your price range, or just not the right thing to own at the time. In the Brick Tarot, the Chariot shows my wife, Jennifer, with her recently-acquired dream-ride. (Here represented by a LEGO-ized version of a Mini-Cooper.)

The card is more about Jennifer than it is the car, though. In the past couple of years Jen has gone though some very tough times, only to emerge from the trials a much more focused person. There is no victory out of reach , nothing she cannot accomplish when she puts her will to it.

As to the making of the card, this lonely stretch of road is host to several of the major arcana in the Brick Tarot. Jen is on her way to her appearances in the Cups suite. The Mini-Mini-Cooper was a surprisingly quick build for me; using the car in the driveway was a reference, I had the thing built in about 15 minutes. Pretty much record time for me.
