Author Commentary:

Our Queen appeared in the last version of my Deck as the Queen of Cups. Honestly, the person I based this card on, my good friend Wired, fits well with either set of characteristics. But it's hard to spotlight her Knitting skills with the Cups suit.

Wired is co-founder of Knit Like a Pirate.com, and here in the Brick Tarot you can see her working on some new project. (My wife Jennifer actually worked up the tiny knitting for me - I have no knowledge of how those sticks...er...wands...are supposed to work, so I'm sure mini-Wired is really doing more harm than good in the photo.) Unless you're a real fan of LEGO bricks you probably won't be able to tell from the small portion that's showing that Wired has a very pirate-y corset on as a top.

As to the stage for this card, Wired has apparently dropped by to visit Nikki from The High Priestess card, since that's her studio she's sitting in. You can see that a bit better in the pulled-back shot below.
