These are ten inch bootlegs of the 1990's Kenner Power of the Force line. They feature innovative packaging, removable helmets, and original head molds.
Anyway, here's a closer look at the two 10" offerings.
The figures are twist-tied to a yellow cardboard insert that fits snugly inside the window-box. The helmets are on the figures heads, but are not anchored in any fashion - they can fall off during shipment.
The Vaderish figure is really quite good. It is molded from a scaled-up Kenner POTF2 Darth Vader figure, and is articulated at the waist, shoulders, neck, hips and gloves. The articulation at the gloves is an added level of articulation over the Kenner figure, but one I wish Kenner had done on their own. He has a cloth(!) cape that fastens in the front, as well as a removable helmet. The head is apparently not molded from any Kenner figure, but is nicely painted. As shown at right, "Vader" also comes with two guns twist tied to his cardboard backer.
The "Stormtrooper" is also a keen toy. Molded from a scaled-up Kenner POTF2 Stormtrooper figure, it is articulated at the waist, hips, neck, and shoulders. It is molded in an off-white plastic, and has been painted with a higher-gloss white paint on the chest and trunks. The helmet is removable, and has a smaller plastic "hatband" inside to help it set correctly on the figure's head (detailed below). The figure's head is different from that of the Vader, and does not match any Kenner mold that I am aware of. Two guns are also included, twist tied to the cardboard backer (at right).
