Episodes 371 and 372

Read the comics here and here.

371: I like Wash. I like Fox. I like the Goddamn Batman. But I never really hit it off with Mary Sue.

I do feel bad for Robert Smith of the Cure, who was in the background slumming as a barista and was caught in the crossfire.

372:
For those of you who have no idea what is going on, I point you here.

No, the new episodes won't be animated. This was a (hopefully) one time thing.

When do the new episodes start? Probably Monday. I have some sets that need to be built first, though.

1. Woo! Death to Mary Sue!

2.Pretty cool; but I understand why you might want to keep it a one-time thing.

Just a FYI, since it's been mentioned a couple of times...

I will indeed be updating the character chart in the next week or so. I may also be taking a swipe at the archive page to make things a bit easier to follow.

Donut is the Doctor! And Luka is Susan! I bet they have some weird, chili-fuelled version of K-9, too.

1. To Mary Sue, seriously, get a life! That out of the way, I like the teleportation thing. But did you steal it from some show, or invent it for this occasion?

2. TARDIS Brick House - apparently Donut got something working that the Doctor could never get working - the cloaking device! :D Although I must say the fade-out effect was a bit short, (it should actually run concurrently with a gradual disappearance of the TARDIS) and I'd have liked more music ripped off from the Dr Who theme music. Apart from that the only thing lacking was a proper dematerialisation echo fade-out.

By the way, what happened to Donut's basement when he built the TARDIS, or acquired it, which we do not know the means of as yet.

So many questions, I'm definitely tuning in for answers next week!

Actually Whiskey is going to be filing the Susan role, at least at first. I'll address Luka's whereabouts in this week's strips.

splash1:
You're welcome. Thanks for reading it!

dark whiskey:
There are many, many Robert Smiths.

Geoffrey:
1: The teleportation was a spur of the moment thing.

2: I based the TARDIS effects on the 1st season (9th Doctor), which is the only Dr. Who I've seen so far. My attempt was fairly close to what you see on-screen from those episodes - but, as will be revealed soon, the Brick House isn't exactly the same as a TARDIS. Every Parody is a bit different, just by the nature of being a parody...

Anon:
Mary Sue will probably be back - assuming the Castle Advent calendar is released...

V-Beetle:
I'd be shocked if he didn't...
