Why is it, given a choice, that the younger generation, which Whiskey is from, will always favour the suicidal route over something planned and prepared?
BTW, how do we know that it's actually a 60 foot drop on the wrong side of the building? They never mentioned where the escape pod tubes went to, and maybe Donut coincidentally landed the TBH TARDIS where it would divert or interfere with the escape pod tubes.
Or maybe these escape pod tubes aren't really what they seem?
It will be interesting to see where our bunch of intrepid time travellers DO go though. ;-)
Whiskey watched the pods fly away in strip 426; they know where the tubes exit.
