Episode 459

Read the comic here.

I wonder how many readers thought I'd stretch Luka's rescue out for another six weeks.

Not that this is the end of the "rescue" arc, though. Still a lot of storytelling to do.

Nicely done, Chris. It fits in perfectly with your storyline so far, and enables you to "reverse-engineer" what happened to her through story telling while avoiding complicated sub-plots.

What? Stretch out a plot line far beyond the length of believability? Us? Never...

I'll say this much...The reveal of a certain mysterious shooter will be, uh, revealed sometime next month. ;)

Ian,

What? You mean you're not just going to treat the shooting as a MacGuffin?!

I figured it'd be an integral part of your strip for the next couple of years at least! And I don't mean that as a criticism; it's a valid plot device that you've used well so far.

Chris and Ian: To me, "who shot Tyrant" is something that's getting far too drawn out. Ian has said in private email that he'd reveal at about a certain episode number which happens to be in the very near future, however, for his sake, I'm not going to say what it is unless he contacts me asking me to reveal it publicly.

I might be a lot more receptive to "who shot Tyrant" if Ian is willing to consider puttimg up some guessing competition, and a swanky prize or three, but that's more Chris Doyle's department.

I don't mean to pressure you two into cooperative ideas, but what if you both put heads together and came up with a competition and prize packs for "who shot Tyrant"?

Ian could then feel a bit more comfortable about a reveal date, and get this plot he's used for a bit too long out of the way without people constantly complaining that it's taking too long.

o.0 Paradox alert! If they hadn't gone out and tried to rescue Luka from where she had disappeared to, she wouldn't have disappeared!
