Episode 532

Read the comic here.

There are days that I wish this strip was a radio play, just so you could hear the character's voices as I hear them. Today is definitely one of those days.

I'm going to wait and see what Ian thinks of the strip before commenting further, as I don't know Ian well enough to know if he would actually be cool with the way the story is going right now.

Ian would know Whiskey. I think Chris is throwing us a red herring by using Ian's look-alike.

I don't see any "used with permission" disclaimer like he's had in the past when using Ian's characters.

@Geoffrey: I am, as always, vastly entertained by the Brick House. I'm just as interested to see this play out as anyone else, and certainly am not offended in the least.

Heck, I made Chris into a sort-of angel just a couple weeks ago.

This has to beg the question though Ian... do you talk to your whiskey as much as the guy in the jester hat is doing? :)

The only problem with getting intoxicated is that it ruins your brain's proper development. I have not drunk alcohol, and my brain thanks me very much for choosing not to do so.

I have had a fair share of drunken people going past my place, and they are not as hilarious as their alcoholic deliriums would like you to think.

I wonder if Chris has heard of Bung from the old cartoon strip, "The Wizard of Id"? He'd probably come up "skoal" on a breathalyzer. :D

There's certainly nothing wrong with your stance on alcohol - but the characters I show imbibing are all of legal age. (For example, you'll note Ted never gets served anything stronger than Strawberry Quick, and the "adult" characters are quick to enforce that.)

Booze: It's what's for dinner.

If you want to collect Wav files and assemble them into an Audio file to post along side the strip (and any of the next few), and are willing to work in cyberspace, I'd be happy to help with the project.
