I didn’t want to include the caption in panel one, but there needed to be some indication that time had passed other than the crowds (and Donut) being gone.
Considering the noise that the Rock Monsters normally generate, I think the silence in today’s strip is almost meaningful. As meaningful as a LEGO comic can get, anyway…

That bus still sitting there at the intersection is looking out of place. Is there some reason why one of the bus drivers didn’t drive it away?
It was obvious Donut couldn’t be dead.
1: Donut had to save the Donut I head sometime in the future of his timeline.
2: Donut II Pink Shirt wouldn’t exist if Donut II Green Shirt was dead.

Yea, that could really use some updating. Brick Cola and Cola Brick haven’t been mentioned in forever, and the rock monsters and Queen Char ought to have mention. And El Stud and Frobot!

@dannylinker As you evidently are a newcomer to this strip, you may not have noticed the events that occur that couldn’t happen in real life. I have for this reason created a list to help you.
• Legos cannot:
• move
• talk
• bleed
• kill each other
• etc.
• People and legos cannot just disintegrate.
• The real world does not have plot devices.
• There are not actual zombies (yet).
• Robots do not dress as clowns (yet).
• Frogs cannot talk.
There are many other inconsistencies with real life which I would recommend you investigate immediately.

True, some have really rare updates but some manage every day (the incorectly named iregular webcomic for example). Even I managed every day once but my comic dried out after a few months due to lack of ideas. Im counting it as a hiatus though!
I guess I shouldn’t be blaming doyle, it relly is hard! But SUNDAY is COMIC DAY
