IV - The Emperor

Divination:

A card of leadership, but also of aggression, force and control.

Author Commentary:

This card was a no-brainer. After caving in to using licensed properties back with The Magician, how could I possibly pass on using The Emperor for The Emperor?

There were a couple of pre-production designs for this card - the Emperor with his blue force-lightning might have been more dynamic, but I think this image of him flanked by attendants speaks more to the core meanings of the card.
