Luka’s guilty of over-simplifying her definition of Niflheim. And Whiskey was talking about the Rura Penthe in Siberia from “War and Peace”. But that’s okay.
El Stud’s original dialog had him threatening to cut “Doyle open and wear him like a Tauntaun. To keep warm.” But it felt a little awkward coming from him.
Of course, now I’ll have to introduce the HWF* Superstar EL WAMPA at some point.

Donut’s clearly not an ardent Trek fan.
Well, neither am I anymore… but I’m pretty sure that was “The Undiscovered Country,” no?
…or was that the ever-elusive first-panel-punchline?
@Lich: Either I typoed or was completely out of it when I was writing Donut’s dialog. I meant to reference the right film. (And, yes, it was Trek6: Undiscovered Country”.)
There was more dialog initially that had Whiskey responding “I meant the one in Siberia. From War and Peace?” and Donut going “Whatever” but it screwed up the flow of El Stud’s joke.
But anyway.
I think El Stud would win in a contest to determine the person who can think of the location that most closely resembles where they’re going. If the contest judges didn’t care what planet it was on. 😀
I think there’s definitely going to be a winter theme here, or at the very least a Christmastime look to the landscape when they get there. 😀

I think wearing Doyle like a tauntaun is totally in keeping with El Stud’s speech patterns.
Is it odd of me that I thought of Star Trek before even reading Donut’s line?

Personally, I liked the Taun-Taun line…
I literally had the same reaction El Stud had when they mentioned Rura Penthe and Niflheim (i’m a native Spanish speaker, so i said “Que?” too).
