Mind you, I find it is easier to spin spinners with Midgets/drawvs/children/doyle on them, since the minifigs are smaller.
“Vintage Lego Collectors” love complaining about all this stuff… c’mon, most of the sets are around the 10c pp level, there are new pieces (IE, that Chinese hat, new short chains, the vertical lightsaber, etc.), new bodies. I know the backstory stinks like a Twilight novel, but that’s what YOU’RE for. If you don’t like it, write another! It’ll probably be better.
I still can’t wait for 1129, when Donut dies. That should be a really interesting one. Maybe we’ll get to see the blue-flame-Thyme-Lord-regeneration-ring!

Actually – I’ve only seen them spinning on boxes. I’ve never seen the Ninjago adverts.

You know, for all the Ninjago series’ faults, those lightsaber handles with the two perpendicular studs look useful as all heck.
