@Sam: No, that was the same Donut – just time looped. The Donut from earlier in this version’s timeline is currently off with Fox and Wash.
(Try not to think about that too much.)
To help clear up the timeline: Old!Donut -> Blown up at BC HQ, but his head survives -> Rebuilt into Robo!Donut by Current!Donut at some future time-jump -> Robo!Donut is squished on Y’bitt and regeneates as Current!Donut.1 -> Current!Donut.1 leaves with Fox and Wash, will go back in time at some point to make Robo!donut and appear at BC HQ as the smoke clears (Call that the start of Current!Donut.2) -> Current!Donut.2 is now about to take a bite of pepper and become new!donut.
Simple!

Mostly this is because the choice of Minifig for Donut since Advent ’09 looked like the same one that RoboDonut regenerated into after being crushed. He had the same face and shirt as that one.
