Oh yeah Doyle I need a little help with purchasing LEGOs. Okay so I have a budget of 10.00$ and I need a set that can supply me with 1. Good size. 2. Yellow skinned minifigures. and 3. Under 10.00$ Any you could recommend?
Flamero has it right – go for the basic Creator sets if you’re looking for good brick-to-value ratio. Stay away from the licensed themes (particularly star wars) – the figures are cool, but you’re paying for the movie-tie in. $10 isn’t going to get you too much, but, hey, you have to start somewhere…
Lemme guess, Donut will move the Brick House and leave Grinchley behind. Unfotunately for Brick Cola, he will have landed it in the side of their building, again.
@gobbles 100: If you’re looking for pieces, Chris has got ya covered. If you want minifigs, though, the “build-your-army” sets are decent. For about 11.00$ (curse you, inflation!) you can get 4 or so figs and some speeders or whatever. Lego Castle-type “build-your-army”s usually run more in the 15$ range, though. 🙁

I would go to a Pick-a-Brick wall, but I don’t have a Lego store for 5000+ miles.
You could also try the Lego ______ Building sets for 10 bucks, you’d get a minifig and 100-150 parts.

Thanks to you, Doyle, and Flamero. However, today I dropped 16.00$ In a Toys-R-Us and it dissappeared. But I did get some awesome minifigures.
The concept is interesting, by making a sell he is running himself out of buisness.
