The only reason Lego makes huge phones is because if they made small Phones and a kid, lets say dropped it under thier bed it would be too small to see.
Whenever I see a real-world rotary dial phone I think they look comically oversized compared to modern phones! So the LEGO one is only being true to life ;-D
