Sorry for the unplanned hiatus. An unexpected medical issue kept me from just about everything since I returned from KidsFest. I’m on the mend now, but seriously backlogged both here and at my day job. Don’t know if I’ll be able to manage a strip-a-day this week, but I’ll try.
As to today’s episode, I had planned to show things from the Brick Cola Troop’s point of view. When I realized I didn’t have the time or energy to build a set big enough to have the house vanish from, I was forced into this workaround. Still works from a story perspective, at least.
Chris, I think you should worry less about story updates and more about getting well. Brick House will still be there when you get back up on your feet and are well enough to resume normal activities. I sincerely wish you the best regarding your unexpected medical issue and may you get well soon!

Doyle, I hope you’re alright. Make sure to take care of yourself. And don’t rush the comic- we can wait! And hey, if you have some great idea you can’t do right now, just let it sit until you can. We’re not paying you, there’s no rush.
Also, if there’s anything I, or others with large LEGO collections and plenty of time, can do to help you out, just ask.
