A couple of pop-culture references today beyond the obvious link to Marvel Comics. Char’s line about “non-union Mexican equivalent” is lifted almost verbatim from an early episode of the Simpsons.
And “Iron Manos” is, of course, a nod to possibly the worst movie of all times: Manos: The Hands of Fate.
