No real reason – I haven't even seen the film in years. Although now I'm tempted to get the DVD off the shelf. (It'll mix well with Season Two of Battlestar Galactica, right?)

I love the "Airplane" jokes. All you need to do is tie in the "drinking problem" somehow and you'll be set!
