Set Review: (7621) Indiana Jones and the Lost Temple

Okay, you asked for it, so here it is. The first of my reviews of the LEGO "2008 Sneak Peek" lineup.

I started with my favorite of the bunch, Indiana Jones and the Lost Temple.

Click the picture to read the review, but be sure to come back here to talk about it!

hehe, flaming carrot. Takes me back.

While I appreciate Lego's need for economy when creating sets, there's a lot to be said for Brick Testament's Ark of the Covenant

You could use Paint to colour in the skin-coloured bit of Indy's torso yellow, thus making the perfect "post-severe stress" Whiskey shirt.

You could use a sharpie to re-colour that horrible pink...

I used it with the Batman figs, and it works a charm ;) Very long-lasting, too...

I'll admit I purchased this set just for the minifigs, since I bought the yellow beach house, and it didn't come with people (or furniture either, might I add), and who better to have a nice beach house than a couple of tomb-raiding celebrities. Still, I love this set! The mini Ark of the Covenant is cute, and so are the snakes.

Mr. Doyle, I love, love, LOVE this site, so please keep up the great work.

Makes me wish I kept my sticker unattached. Oh well.
