MythBusters M5 Industries Playset

This playset is designed to let YOU do the SCIENCE!

Join Adam, Jamie, Grant, Tory and Kari as they work to BUST or CONFIRM the myth that LEGO bricks are superior to the CLONE brands.

Based on the first seasons of MythBusters, this playset Features six minifigures (including Buster the Crash Test Dummy), a Dulpo Pig, and Earl the Caddy.

Play features include a sidewalk cavity to recreate the "buried in concrete" myth, a replica of Jamie's high powered air cannon, the infamous "Wall of Bins", a work bench, a reinforced wall at the end of a street, and so much more!

Take each of the three case test walls (LEGO, Clone, and a 50-50 mix) and smash Earl the Caddy into them! Which brand will prove to hold together the best? Which will win Adam's approval in terms of style? YOU DO THE SCIENCE!

Graviton:Some great Mythbusters there. Technically has some mods, whereas the Mythbusters are clearly a force for GOOD.

Chris: @Graviton: Yeah, but each an every cast member has decended into the realm of "Mad Scientist" in one episode or another...so it's all good.

Futuron Labs

In 1987, the Futuron were in space, colonizing a planet, exploring the galaxy, and going where no man had gone before.

...until the Blacktron came around, and allegedly started harassing them until the Space Police appeared.

Everyone knows, though, that the Space theme storyline happens in the future, unlike the Space Port theme or Launch Command theme. How did these people get into space? When did they develop the ships? Where DID that monorail come from?

I, being all-knowing (suuure), have answered these questions - and it turns out it all happened a few blocks away from the Cafe Corner.

Please view the complete flickr set for explanations on the various vignettes, techniques, and microscale models inside.

Chris: Love the level of detail in this creation.

The Doktor Knall Moon Project

Doktor Knall is a government endorsed scientist. Few know what goes on behind the lab walls, mostly due to the two armed guards patrolling the area 24/7 and the huge and somewhat phallic missile gun on the roof. In truth, he does not research the positive effects of african violets in classrooms as is claimed, but rather is working on something more sinister. With the help of summer working kids Jack and Johnny, he has created a simple but deadly machine to completely destroy the moon. By blowing a large amount of explosives put in a hole drilled to the centre of the moon, all colonies on it will be destroyed. Why does the government endorse this? 81% of the moon's population voted against them in the last election. Either way, Doktor Knall gets to play. And he likes it.
