Hell Freezes over: Also, MiniMizer Updated

It only took me the better part of a year, but I finally found a few minutes to put a few new parts into the Upgraded Mini-Mizer.

Recently I've received several requests for Joker and Robin parts, so I put those in there. Along with some simple Iron Man-ish armor.

Now that I've cracked the code open again I'll probably update this a few more times before I put it back on the shelf. If you want an item added, now's the time to ask.

Enjoy!

Buy-Me-Mizer: New parts

There are some fun new additions to the Buy-Me Mizer today.

There are two new faces, a new torso, a new red hand color (that probably won't last very long) and four new weapons in the accessory section. Two of them are Brickarms molds - a M47 without scope and the new M4 Carbine. The other two are the often-asked-for official Star Wars rifle and blaster.

Currently there are 129,833,928,000 Total Combinations in the system.

Remember, the summer promotion ends on July 31st!

There's been a parts upgrade at the Buy-Me Mizer, a great reason to take advantage of the Spring Sales event that ends on April 30th.

In addition to new items like the Teal TeddyBear and Basketball, I've also been able to return some classic favorites like the White Cat and the head I use on my own Sig-fig. Go take a look!

Buy-Me-Mizer: Springtime Sale

There's a new Sale at the Buy-Me Mizer - now through April 30th, you can earn some fun bonuses with multi-figure orders.

Order 3 or more figures, and you'll get figure stands for every figure in your order.
Order 5 or more figures, and I'll pay shipping costs.
Order 10 or more figures, and I'll include an extra figure. (I'll design it for Maximum FUN)

Why the sale? Taxes are due, and it seems like every prize from the Steampunk Contest is being shipped overseas. (First prize is going to Romania, for example. ROMANIA!) So my LEGO fund is...how shall I put this delicately...depleted.

I'm also working on a "Townbuilder" Mega-Pack for when those "Stimulus Checks" start arriving the in the US. Watch for details.

Buy-Me-Mizer Update

I added a few new parts to the Buy-Me Mizer today.

Two new legs: Spring Blue and Spring Dark Blue
Three new faces: Pepper, Dudley, and another eye-patch variation
One new helmet: Stormtrooper
Three new torsos: Red Haltertop, Black Space II, Stormtrooper
Two new neckwear options: White Fringe, Yellow Fringe

Total Combinations now at 109,901,610,000

ALSO: I've gotten a couple of emails about people getting an error when adding multiple figures to their cart. From what I've been able to trace down, this is being caused by you having a figure in your cart for a while, then coming back and adding more figures later. The best solution I've found is to just clear your cart and re-add the figures - that seems to clear the error. If you're still having trouble, please comment or email me.

The Last Naughty Elves

The December 2007 Buy-Me-Mizer promotion ends in a few hours, and I thought this would be a good time to highlight the (presumably) last of the Naughty Elves to escape my Workshop.

Three more Elves join the ranks, bringing the horde to 9 members. The three new NEs are:
  • Minski
  • Santa Pimp
  • Blinder

Whiskey in the Buy-Me-Mizer

Due to popular demand (and a lucky parts acquisition) I've been able to add Whiskey Tango into the Buy-Me-Mizer.

Both of his heads (the "Angry" and "Less Angry") are in there. Both heads are dual-sided, so you only need one of each to complete all four of Whiskey's facial expressions.

I also added another new torso (a second version of the green shirt with camera), a brown spear and a Castle pole-arm. Oh, and one more "standard" female face option.

Current combination total is at 95,180,574,720

Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone enjoys this day of haunted candy.

My wife is very much a Halloween Gal - when I got out of the shower this morning she had just finished putting in denture-quality fangs to make her outfit today "that much more special." We made a special trip to Target last night for candy for the Trick or Treaters. She has plans to screen a spooky movie or two tonight as well.

As for me, I enjoy the pageantry, but I've yet to find a costume theme that I can really get excited about. Giant LEGO mini-figures have already been done, after all.

Ah well. Maybe next year.

There's a reason the 'Mizer icon is to the right. Today is the last day to order Buy Me Mizer figures and get the free Spooky October Extras.

Tomorrow things go back to 'normal' around here.

Well, whatever passes for normal in these parts, anyways...
